Some days are harder than some others. Some periods you know you are struggling with a lot mentally and you have to deal with all that while being a mother.

You can explain your circumstance to your spouse and they would understand and make no demands but not with a child.

You are not sleeping well while also having to face pressure at work. Then in your exasperation, you choose to sleep train and oh boy! Is it a mental torture to your already battered mental state!!!

Like how do you cry and shriek for so long?

And through the tears and your own suffering mental state, you ask yourself how people could have more than one but you know the answer.

Tomorrow morning, no matter how angry you are, when she wakes up and gives you that toothless grin, part of the anger melts away and the sleepless night somehow doesn’t seem so much like a curse.

Then it’s night and you are wondering if God really made babies cute to trap us into wanting more of them.
